I'm interested to know whether other people feel the same as I do about this -

I cant rationally explain why but every week I waste loads of food cos its 'too near' its sell by date for me to eat or feed to my family. I used to spend ages in the supermarket reaching to the back of shelves to get the freshest packet with the longest date on it only to chuck it away if it had sat in the fridge for more than a day or so. Now I generally shop for fresh stuff every day which makes me feel a bit ...

fear of OTHERES vomiting?

[b]Im new to the site, but from what I have seen, most users are afraid of themselves vomiting. This is not the case for me.

I am absolutely terrified of someone else vomiting! I have been this way ever since I can remember. When I was younger, it was so bad I would stay home from school for days and avoid kids for months if they got sick in school. I hated class parties cuz i was positive someone would eat too much and get sick. I even remember one time when I was told a kid got sick (Im ...

I don't know how anyone else feels about becoming pregnant (not that I'm planning to for a while yet!) but I'm absolutely terrified of getting morning sickness....to the point of I think I'd rather never have children than to run the risk of having morning sickness...and was wondering how anyone else felt about this!?!?!?

Does anyone know how their phobia started?

I'd be interested to know

I know that mine was more than likely caused by the fact that my mum used to yell at me as a kid if I was sick anywhere other than the bathroom and possibly the fact that whenever I was ill as a child, there was usually a bad atmosphere in the house due to continuously aruing parents!

They say that if you can locate the source of development of ur phobia, it will help you overcome it.....but that hasn't really helped for me :/
