I'm interested to know whether other people feel the same as I do about this -

I cant rationally explain why but every week I waste loads of food cos its 'too near' its sell by date for me to eat or feed to my family. I used to spend ages in the supermarket reaching to the back of shelves to get the freshest packet with the longest date on it only to chuck it away if it had sat in the fridge for more than a day or so. Now I generally shop for fresh stuff every day which makes me feel a bit ...

Has anyone ever experienced a panic attack when out and about, due to thinking you feel sick? I've noticed myself feeling randomly really panicky when out recently.
Are there any precautions you take when going out? I always make sure I have water with me and know where the nearest toilets are.

Does anyone know how their phobia started?

I'd be interested to know

I know that mine was more than likely caused by the fact that my mum used to yell at me as a kid if I was sick anywhere other than the bathroom and possibly the fact that whenever I was ill as a child, there was usually a bad atmosphere in the house due to continuously aruing parents!

They say that if you can locate the source of development of ur phobia, it will help you overcome it.....but that hasn't really helped for me :/
